uninSubject: TW 70 Heritage

Hi all

I'm looking for a new electro acoustic guitar and im thinking of buying one from tw heritage series. I'm looking at the Tanglewood Heritage TW70 H SR B and i wonder if this is a grand auditorium or is it orchestra model and how loud (or big) is it against a dreadnought shape.

I also wonder what do you think about A5T pickup if anyone has tested.
Thanks for any reply

Erik LindRE: TW 70 Heritage

hey there Unin,

The TW70 Heritage guitars are Orchestra-sized models. A little smaller overall than a dreadnought...

It won't be as boomy as a dreadnought, but will be more responsive, with a very balance tone. The rosewood tends to be a little richer-sounding than mahogany (which is sometimes characterized as being more "clear", but with less "character").

The B-Band A5T is a great preamp system, with complete controls... easy-to-use, with nice feedback control, and very nice natural sound. The onboard tuner is very handy.

Hopefully that helps!

Erik
