The choice of a guitar is a personal thing indeed and you have to try the instrument with your own hand to make sure the choice is a good one. For me it was the TW-49, and more than a year after i bought it, after several gigs and recording sessions, i still love it.
It's an excellent guitar on stage and in studio. Its rather small "super-folk" size makes it a light instrument, which is a good point but the downside is that the sound volume is bit lower than with a regular dreadnought folk (in pure acoustic). Fortunately it's also a good electro-acoustic and it sounds great once plugged into an amp, and even directly into a PA. The onboard tuner is also a handy gadget !
And well, this is also a personal thing but ... it's a superb instrument!
Erik here from Tanglewood North America. Great question... instead of me coming up with the "company" reply, I threw the question out to our Tanglewood North America Facebook page fans. They've already come back with some great (and funny) suggestions. Below are a few... check out www.facebook.com/tanglewoodguitarsUSA to see if we get more feedback!
