 | RobinMillar | Subject: Can anyone identify my guitar???
I recently purchaced a tanglewood TW-305vs Indiana Series on ebay. But im getting kind of suspicious that it could be a fake as i have not seen any others like it. It has a serial number on the inside ( 050219 ) is this a valid serial number? Can anyone help?? | Sun, 17 Jun 2012 12:45:19 |

Hi RobinMillar,
The TW305 initially appeared about 5 or 6 years back. It was only offered in the UK, and only remained available for about half a year. This all-solid wood model retailed in the UK for £499 (the electro version for £599) and came in a deluxe hard case. It was a great guitar, but as mentioned was only produced for a short time - part of a year - before being phased into other models for production cost reasons.
So no - not a fake, just a rare model - and a great one at that!

i just purchased a TW1000 H SR, serial # 0906280216. This guitar has very very dark wood on the sides and back, it looks like African Mahogany, though I'm not sure. Also it is equipped with the B Band A5t system. I am curious as to whether this is an older model, or part of a short production run, as it is different than what is shown on your web page. That said I love this guitar, and compared it extensively with just about every guitar in my smallish community. I kept coming back to it and it kept whispering in my ear. I'm just curious about her history.
