Ross uses the Tanglewood MasterDesign TSM 2 and Sundance Pro TW1000.

26 year old London based session guitarist Ross Chapman started playing guitar at the age of 8. It was Keith Scott’s playing on Bryan Adams’ ‘Run to You’ that sealed the deal and prompted him to ditch the tennis racket for a real guitar. Growing up and going through highschool with music always at the front of his mind, Ross’ influences became plenty and varied, and his eagerness to unlock the full potential of his instrument led to a keen interest in pedals, amplifiers and all things guitar-related.

Ross graduated from the University of Surrey with a first class honours degree in music, majoring in performance and composition and has subsequently been establishing himself in London as a professional session guitarist playing both live and in the studio for a number of emerging artists. He spent time playing for Parlophone’s UK number one selling artist Conor Maynard, and promoted Conor’s number one album ‘Contrast’ in the UK, USA and Canada before embarking on a full UK tour.

Being a gear enthusiast Ross tried all sorts of acoustic guitars in preparation for the long string of promotional TV and Radio performances that laid ahead upon joining Conor’s camp, but found himself returning to his first ever acoustic – his trusty Sundance TW1000 – every time. The acoustic arrangements of Conor’s material were incredibly important and actually made up the majority of work Ross had done with him, therefore it is imperative Ross has a guitar he can rely on to perform and sound great day in and day out, weather on stage during a tour, or on TV sets and radio stations and the Tanglewood does just that.

Currently playing for platinum-selling artist Ella Henderson, and have previously toured with Conor Maynard and Union J across the UK and the rest of Europe, as well as performing in various other countries including Canada, the USA, Australia and New Zealand. On top of this Ross has also worked with various other great artists such as The Roots, Labrinth, Professor Green, Aston Merrygold, Tori Kelly, Neon Jungle, and A*M*E – and is constantly on the lookout for new projects to get involved with.
